“This is the best investment in myself I have made in a long time.”
After 2 years of backward and forward to the GP, consultants, colonoscopies, food restrictions, and still in serious discomfort with gastro issues, I decided to find a gut health nutritionist to see if it would help… I literally had nothing to lose, I was at my wits end and our health service didn’t seem to care… they ruled out cancer so they had done their job.
I found Keli through a bit of local research and saw she came highly recommended. I reached out to her over social media and she called me back the same day. We had a chat about my current state and what my goals were.
I have quite a few underlying health conditions and these were all discussed at length, as well as everything else you could imagine concerning the gut. She also took into account that time is precious for me and I don’t want to be spending hours meal prepping or planning or cooking… I needed it to be simple. I also told her my likes and dislikes, and even things that I was willing to try and stuff that was just a downright no.
The menu she put together for me was incredibly easy to follow, nothing took more than 20/25 mins from start to cooked food… and there was nothing on there that I didn’t like, all just so tasty! Some of the recipes, like the Turmeric Tonic, took some getting used to, but my taste buds have changed and I actually really enjoy this now.
I stuck to the plan 95% – yes, I did have the odd glass of wine, or the odd bit of ice cream … But when you eat for health and you feel amazing – sleep like a champ, have the energy of a 10-year-old, and are happy and pain-free – you don’t want to eat crap because it’s just not worth it!
I have learned so much about my own gut and nutrition working with Keli over the 2 months and the support and encouragement have been incredible.
This is the best investment in myself I have made in a long time and I have never eaten so healthily in my life… and feel amazing for it.
My bloating has gone, the embarrassing wind has improved drastically, I sleep like a bear and have the energy (most days) of a superhero… and the best thing is the lessons I have learned I will keep forever!
